Hi guys,

I just wanted to let you know about this fantastic real-flight event organised by the IVAO Turkish division, to be held next Sunday 28th Feb.  It really seems like one event not to be missed! I encourage all of you to participate and book your flight!  This is their write up for the event...

IVAO Turkish division proudly presents the first big Real Flight Event of 2010. As you all know, Istanbul has been chosen as the 2010 European Capital of Culture. We plan to celebrate this beautiful cities success with this event. We plan to simulate Real Flights in Istanbul Ataturk Airport ( LTBA ) on February 28th, between 16:00 and 22:00 UTC. More than 200 flights are waiting for you. You can check available flights by logging on to event site.

More than that, We are also planning to provide full ATC service at another airport, Sabiha Gokcen ( LTFJ ) which is located at the Asian part of the city. As most of you should know, Istanbul is like a bridge between Europe and Asia continents and therefore its the only city that spans two continents.

Hi guys,

Just to let you know that i have booked Turkish Airlines (domestic) flight THY572 to Samsun LTFH with the B738.  Departure at 1630z from Istanbul Ataturk.  Departing at the same time and for the same destination, is Lufthansa flight DLH2122 also with the B738... so anyone willing to join me is more than welcome!!    Oh and it is only a short hop from istanbul to the northern coast of Turkey, approx 1 hour!
